THE DETAILS
To start the process please send us an email with a picture of your gown or wedding apparel so we know what style you are trying to complement.
Inspirational photos are encouraged and a great way to help get the design process going.We will set up an initial consultation either in person or via Zoom to discuss your ideas as well as the vibe and tone of your wedding.

A $50 appointment consultation fee is required to hold your appointment time. This is payable through Venmo prior to the appointment date.

During the appointment, you can share the details of your wedding day, your style, vision and share any concerns that you may have. Then you can try on samples and we'll get started on your custom creation. I'll take notes, make sketches, and discuss fabric and trim options that will work well with your outfit.
We will work together on the selection of fabric, lace, trims, flowers, or other materials needed to bring your vision to life. Throughout the process, the one-of-a-kind piece is created to your specifications and made just for you.
MATERIALS & COMPONENTS
Depending on the materials and embellishments you select for your bespoke accessory will directly affect the total cost.
Many materials are imported from the UK and France and therefore are expensive.

LABOR
A custom creation is a made-to-order item.
It is not like fast fashion.
It takes time to source the best embellishments for your design and order swatches from the manufacturer.
Depending on your selection it can take anywhere from 4 to 12 weeks after the final design decision has been made.
Upon arrival, some trims, like lace, must be hand-trimmed before they are hand pinned, and finally,
in most cases, they are stitched on by hand as well.
Many hours are needed to create your custom item this is reflected when you receive your price quotation.

Modifications to the designs can add time and may have an additional fee.
However, If you want something else, please tell me. It’s so important that you are satisfied with the design!

When designing your veil, it's essential to take into consideration the details of your wedding ensemble, the bridal look you've been dreaming of creating, the feeling and flow of your wedding venue, and your general style vibe. For example, are you chic and classic, super trendy, boho or alternative, goth or rock and roll?
TIMELINE
When dealing with a custom accessory, it is important to allow as much time as necessary. Wedding season can get extremely busy with many clients having the exact same wedding dates.
I know that accessories tend to be an afterthought and aren't purchased until after the dress has been bought or picked up.
However, once the gown deposit has been paid, that is a great time for you to start thinking about your accessories.
Creating your heirloom accessory can take anywhere from 4 to 12 weeks after the final design decision has been made.

Most clients start by sending me an email with pictures of their wedding outfits, sharing thoughts and ideas,
and anything that will help me to understand their vision so I can get an idea of what style accessory would best compliment
their outfit and express their style.

What Happens Next?
During your appointment or after our discussion I will offer you suggestions, ideas, options and a price quote.
Many of my online clients purchase lace swatches to compare to their gowns.
For in-person clients ~ send an email to make your appointment to visit the studio and we can talk about your ideas and vision.
It's helpful if you can bring along photos of your wedding attire or if you bring the attire to your appointment
you can try it on with the l veil or wedding cape samples. Once we agree on a design and the materials
to be used to create your accessory, I'll ask for a 50% deposit.
We will also agree and confirm a time frame, so you'll know when to expect your accessory to be ready for pickup.
For online clients ~ once the details have been confirmed by email, I will send an invoice and a 50% deposit is due.

Final payment is due prior to shipping.
All items are sent by USPS Priority Mail with tracking info.

Creating Your Vision
Your bridal veil design or wedding cape is carefully and precisely made to order in our Los Angeles studio. We create all our designs completely by hand, one at a time, from beginning to end. All lace is cut and expertly arranged by hand onto the veil fabric and held in place with pins. During this very meticulous process, attention to detail is key. Your lace selection is then carefully and painstakingly hand-stitched and all the lace seams are expertly concealed. Once this stage is complete, your beautiful veil is attached by hand to a matching tulle wrapped comb in your choice of rhodium silver, gold or rose gold .
Next, your veil receives its final steaming and is then carefully folded and boxed with a complimentary hanger clip and personal handwritten thank you note. It is now ready for shipment to your doorstep.
For in- person clients, your veil is carefully hung awaiting your final try-on and pickup .

Pricing depends on the complexity of the design, the materials used and the hours of labor involved. Small changes to existing designs do not incur an additional charge but more significant style adjustments such as added length or embellishment or changing the design will incur an additional cost. All costs will be agreed before any work is started unless the design change is requested after the initial order has been placed. The additional fees will be calculated when the design change request is made.
Our modern heirloom bridal veils incorporate the finest tulle, hand cut laces and lustrous Swarovski pearls and crystals, each individually applied by hand to your specifications.
It is an honor to be entrusted with creating a special piece to be worn on one of the most important days of a person's life.
